Part of our exclusive collection, this Owyhee Picture Jasper Ring is one of our Outrage Originals. A long oval Owyhee Picture Jasper gemstone set in a  sterling silver .  The ring has no embelishments so that the stone takes centre stah=ge in this lovely unique piece. 

Owyhee Picture Jasper comes from the Owyhee mountain area situated on the Idaho-Oregon border. This gemstone  was found in the 1967 by Bruce Markus and Ralph Fulson. They saw the pretty rock and collected a few hundred pounds. Later they came back and claimed the area. The mine is very isolated and overlooks the Owyhee River.
