A delicately banded Blue Agate gemstone set in silver and complete with an 18 inch silver chain. The handcrafted silver has irregular swirls on either side of the gemstone which add to its uniqueness.

Blue Lace Agate is a lovely delicate stone with bands of darker and lighter hues of pale blue resembling delicate lacework. Blue Lace Agate is a form of chalcedony. Silica rich solutions containing the mineral crocidolite seep into cavities in  pre-existing rocks , where the mineralss are precipitated  slowly forming the characteristic pale blue banding typical of this gemstone.
