Blue Lace Agate is a lovely delicate gemstone with bands of darker and lighter hues of pale blue resembling delicate lacework . This teardrop shaped Blue Lace Agate has been handset in silver creating a pendant with more define stripes on one side merging into a more uniform pale blue. The pendant comes complete with an 18 inch silver cahin. 

Blue Lace Agate is a form of chalcedony. Silica rich solutions containing the mineral crocidolite seep into cavities in  pre-existing rocks where they solidify slowly forming the characteristic pale blue banding typical of this gemstone.
