Cognac coloured Amber gemstones hand set in silver to create a Pendant with a delicate silver raindrop design complimenting the shape of the stone.  The pendant comes complete with an 18 inch silver chain. Matching earrings are also availble. 

Amber is the fossilised resin of ancient pine trees existing mainly in the Baltic region over 44 million years ago.  The trees aged, fell onto the forest floor and were covered by sediments which created an environment of heat and pressure causing the process of molecular polymerisation to form Amber. 

Amber was one of the commodities traded along the famous "Amber Road" which lead from the Baltic to the Mediterranean and then onto the " Silk Route"  to the East.
