Tungsten ring in a flat court style with a beveled edge and wood inlay which gives the piece an intersting two tone appearance. The shank is smoothed to wahat is know as a 'comfort fit.

Tungsten is extracted from the ore Wolframite with the symbol W. Tungsten carbide is approximately twice as hard, and double the density, of steel. It ranks  9 on Mohs scale of mineral hardness.
