Two unusual silver rings encasing Moonstone and Larimar gemstones with a feather like embelishment in silver on either side of the stone.

Moonstone is an Orthoclase Feldspar, formed from cooling magmas  deep within the Earth . As the magmas cooled at differing speeds so thin layers of the minerals Albite and Orthoclase formed . As these minerals have different reflective indexes , light entering the stone is scattered  and diffused in many directions, creating the wonderful changes in colour, known as adularescence. 

Moonstone is a birthstone for Cancerians and may improve intuition and creativity providing a calming effect .

Larimar is a rare variety of Pectolite, the unusual blue colour being attributed to traces of copper and is only found in The Dominican Republic. It was formed as super heated gases brought minerals from deep within the Earth to cool in volcanic pipes.
