Two handcrafted silver rings with Turquoise or Prehnite gemstones. The design creates a floating illusion as the shank waves over the top of the gemstone . The shank is not connected but the ring is not adjustable.

Turquoise is an hydrated phosphate of copper and aluminium and is formed when copper rich solutions percolate into pre-existing rocks. The water content evaporates, the copper combines with aluminium and phosphorous to form Turquoise. . Most of the major ancient civilizations believed Turquoise to have potent healing and spiritual powers. It was also used as an amulet for protection especially by the peoples of the Americas. It was attached to arrows, horse saddles and other artefacts to assist with protection. 

Called “The Breath of Life” by the indigenous American cultures, reminding humans of their Spitituality. Said to attract good luck and friendships, instill calm and alleviate depression. Turquoise is the birthstone for Sagittarius and Aquarius

Prehnite Is a calcium aluminium silicate hydroxide, formed as the result of metamorphic processes within the Earth . It  usually a soft apple green colour, but can also be found in yellow, orange, and blue. Deposits were found in South Africa , and the gemstone was used by local people to improve contact with spirit beings , especially through dreams. 

It is thought to enhance love and healing processes and is one of the birthstones for Libra.
